A Name Rooted in History. The Story Behind Our Name

Inspired by Cornelis Haga—the Dutch diplomat who bridged cultures and built lasting partnerships—we carry forward a name that stands for strategic vision, cultural intelligence, and transformative impact.

 

Cornelis Haga (1578–1654) was appointed as the first official Dutch ambassador to the Ottoman Empire. His mission was to establish diplomatic and trade relations between the Netherlands and the Ottomans. Haga's strategic acumen led to the granting of capitulations and outmaneuvered his competitors—the English and French. He was so successful that he also established numerous consulates across key Ottoman cities, laying the foundation for centuries of bilateral relations.

Today, the Netherlands is one of the largest foreign investors in Turkey, underscoring the enduring legacy of Haga's diplomatic achievements. ​

Much like Haga bridged cultures and redefined international relations, we help organizations navigate the complexities of today's fast-changing global world. By blending AI, Agile methodologies, and Change Management, we create tailored transformation programs that empower people to lead through change, just as Haga led the Dutch mission in a foreign land.

My Story : A curious learner, a cultural explorer, and a bridge-building change-maker at heart.

My top traits are Learner, Achiever, and Strategist—that have guided every step of my personal and professional journey.

With over 20 years of international consultancy experience across Turkey, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Kazakhstan, and the Netherlands, my path has been shaped by transformation—in business, in culture, and in mindset.

I began my career as a management trainee, rotating through finance, marketing, and business development. This was followed by leading a global crisis communication project, a three-year corporate governance program (attended by the Swedish King), and transformation initiatives across multiple countries.

From establishing an office in Kazakhstan to serving as a senior manager at one of the world’s top consultancy firms, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how transformation plays out in diverse, complex environments.

Languages have always helped me connect across cultures. Along the way, I’ve added Russian, German, Italian, French, and Dutch to my native Turkish and fluent English—what I fondly call my “language museum.”

Since 2015, I’ve focused on people-centered transformation through Agile ways of working. For me, Agile is not just a method—it’s a mindset of learning, adaptation, and co-creation.

Since 2019, I’ve been based in the Netherlands with my daughter. I’ve been learning Dutch ever since—and yes, I can now speak it (mistakes included!)

Today, I work as a hands-on consultant and trainer at the intersection of AI, Agile, and Change Management, especially in cross-cultural environments.

I view transformation from multiple angles—strategic, cultural, and operational. As an associative thinker, I thrive on connecting people, ideas, and systems. I go beyond surface-level change to help organizations get to the heart of complex challenges and co-create solutions that stick.

Whether guiding leadership through strategic shifts or enabling teams to experiment and adapt, I bring a holistic, people-first mindset—rooted in context, curiosity, and collaboration.

In Dutch, there’s a word I love: bruggenbouwer—bridge builder. That’s how I see my role.

I work across industries—with startups, scale-ups, and global organizations—helping them grow, adapt, and lead in fast-changing markets.
