Agile HR

What will you learn throughout this training?  

  • What an Agile organization is, the necessary principles and conditions for an Agile organization; how the organizational structure, leadership competencies, culture would look like.
  • Why it is so important for HR to facilitate Agile transformation and the roles of HR that enable the formation of Agile organizations in 4 layers:
    • Organizational level, 
    • Leadership and self-organizing team level,
    • Becoming agile in HR department itself,
    • And transforming traditional HR tools like performance management, feedback, recruitment, talent management, compensation & benefits and more.
  • You would also experience Agile frameworks such as;

Participants will learn how to renew their HR tools to support business agility in terms of both strategically and operationally. At the end of the training, participants will be provided the ICP-TAL certificate given by International Consortium for Agile. 

 

Agile Leadership

The training provides leaders with a perspective on the behaviour and skills they need to navigate continuous change. It shows how leaders can grow and develop to increase their personal agility and the flexibility of their organization. Participants are provided with knowledge about new organizational patterns, behaviours and models and ways to shape and direct them.

Agile Team Facilitator

This is an advanced training that deals with the general role of agile facilitator, which you learn to play in different contexts (squads, large, small and temporary teams and programs). You gain insight into how you can strengthen collaboration and self-organization in teams and you can facilitate this in practice. In addition, your facilitation toolkit has been expanded and you have gained experience with facilitating agile methods.

Agile Awareness (½ Day)

An Agile mindset is crucial in VUCA World. An awareness in Agile approach and management, helps the participants to understand how they need to act in this new era, how they can adjust and develop ever faster, but also increase the quality of work. Indeed, while these are the key success factors in achieving organizational agility, the development and behaviour of agile leaders (in all levels) is important. In this introduction to agile approach, we share the most important agile concepts so that leaders know what agile is and how they can potentially embrace it.

The training content focuses mainly on the introduction of fundamental agile knowledge and on developing the agile leadership perspective. This includes the following elements:

  • The history and growth of agile as a way of thinking, working and organizing
  • The methodologies and frameworks of agile: an overview
  • New requirements for leaders of (agile) organizations
  • Unlearning existing patterns and behaviour and relearning new ones
  • Current daily processes at Avon and ways to improve and manage them with agile
  • Developing yourself, leadership teams and (agile) teams in the organization
  • Examples of other organizations that have applied agile outside of IT
